The National Award Winning Student Affairs Camp (or #SAcamp) was created in 2014 as an alternative to the conference experience established and maintained in the field of student affairs for decades. Grounded in theory and practice, and structured in an unConference model in unCommon spaces, SA Camp strives to create a reflective environment whereby participants both drive and thrive through reviewing themselves and their careers, renew their spirit and body through active engagement, critical dialogue and developmental framing in the natural environment, and relaunch with tools and networks developed in this unique spacial and mental place. After the success of year one, and after winning the American College Personnel Association Innovation Award, we are excited to launch SA Camp 2.0 in the beautiful Bennington area at Southern Vermont College!
